The courts are open for casual play all the time.

Please be aware that the “official” rotation is to leave the court after half an hour. The most common etiquette used by the majrity of players is to rotate after one game and to be reasonably inclusive. By that I mean many folks will let a single join.

THIS IS NOT MANDATORY but is a great way to play.

4. Institute Park

There are 2 shared Pickleball courts at Institute. The Pickleball court lines are painted on the Tennis court.

All time at Institute is Open Time and the official rotation rule is after 30 minutes.

The courts are not really busy but there are only two courts shared between Tennis and Pickleball. So, you may not be able to get on to a court for a half hour

1. Mahon Park

A member of the North Shore Pickleball is at the court to help organize play. The host will put your name in to the next available space on the board. This ensure that there is a nice mixing of players.

These session are usually well attended by novice and intermediate players. But, it is not uncommon to see some of the better players also attend these sessions.

Better players will want to play with better players so they play at different times than novices. It’s not mean or anti-social, it’s just more fun for everyone.
